The Sven Accent Bench pairs a solid oak base in a distressed light oak veneer with a neutral upholstered cushion, its chunky, blocky legs and deeply grained timber lending a brutalist-inspired, rustic presence. The clean, tailored cushion softens the sculptural base and keeps the look approachable. A collaboration between Amber Lewis and Four Hands.

Upholstered Cushion (Polyester / Acrylic / Flax-Linen Blend)

  • Vacuum weekly with an upholstery attachment to remove dust and debris.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Don't rub.
  • Clean with a water-free, solvent-based upholstery cleaner or dry-cleaning product only.
  • Do not use water or water-based cleaners, which can leave rings or damage the fabric.
  • Test any cleaner on a hidden area first, and use in a well-ventilated space.
  • Flip and rotate the cushion regularly to help it wear evenly.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading.
  • Professional cleaning is recommended for stubborn stains.

Solid Oak and Oak Veneer Base

  • Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Wipe up spills right away and dry the surface completely.
  • Clean with a slightly damp cloth and mild soap if needed, then dry immediately.
  • Avoid silicone-based polishes, abrasive cleaners, and harsh chemicals.
  • Keep away from direct heat sources and strong sunlight to protect the finish.
  • Embrace the distressed character. Natural variations and marks are part of the look.
