When you apply for or check to see if you prequalify for Affirm financing, it’s considered a soft inquiry, which does not affect your credit. Rates are from 0–36% APR based on credit and subject to an eligibility check. Options depend on your purchase amount, and a down payment may be required. When you prequalify, you will receive an estimate of how much you can spend with Affirm. Affirm does perform a soft credit inquiry. You are not obligated to use the full amount stated in the estimate, and no payments are due until you actually make a purchase.
