Oak Care

  • Dust often: Use a soft, lint-free cloth. Always wipe in the direction of the wood grain to avoid scratching the surface.
  • Clean minor messes: Mix warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap. Dampen a microfiber cloth, wring it out completely, and gently wipe the surface.
  • Dry immediately: Use a second clean, dry cloth to remove any remaining moisture so the wood does not warp.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals: Never use full-strength vinegar, ammonia, rubbing alcohol, or abrasive pads, as these strip the protective finish.

Upholstery Care

• Vacuum regularly: Use a soft-brush attachment to remove dust and debris from the surface before it settles into the weave.
• Spot clean promptly: Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry white cloth; do not rub, as this pushes the liquid deeper into the flax fibers.
• Use mild detergent: Clean stains with a small amount of mild, clear liquid soap mixed with cool water, and apply it gently with a damp cloth.
• Air dry naturally: Let the cushion dry completely in a well-ventilated room away from direct sunlight or high heat sources.
• Rotate and fluff: Turn the cushions regularly to ensure even wear, distribute pressure, and prevent permanent fabric stretching.
